Painting outdoors in sunny California is one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy painting scenes from my travels to Israel, Uganda, Sweden and Peru. Oil paint is my medium of choice when painting "en plein air"- on location, and in studio. I've been painting over 30 years (between raising children and other jobs) and teaching art classes for 25 years in California. I have grandchildren close by and I never pass up an opportunity to see them!
I spent the months of April and May in Lima, Peru, teaching art classes in oil, acrylic and watercolor. Between classes, Amber and I painted 215 watercolor bookmarks with scripture (in Spanish), to give to the Mothers of Calvary Chapel Lima, on Mother's Day. The 8' x 4' map of Israel, to hang in the Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru classroom, was completed in May. Please contact me if you have any questions. Now, I wonder where my art will end up next?!
